
HomeKeepr is one of the newest technologies that KWRI has introduced to the family of technologies that agents can use to leverage their business’. You can, and SHOULD utilize this awesome tool to add additional touches to your database. HomeKeepr asks your clients, or database if shared with everyone, some basic information about their home.
Then, once a month the homeowner will receive an email from HomeKeepr reminding them to do a home maintenance item. The homeowner can see your list of vendors, chosen by you, to perform the maintenance. Our Preferred Vendors are going to be loaded by default, so their categories will auto-fill. You may choose other categories, in addition to that, such as restaurants, doctors, etc. Really, any vendor that you want to have a relationship with can be in your app. You can even decide to post local community events for your clients to see, and that is something that they could value with your app.
So, how does your client get the HomeKeepr app? In September HomeKeepr will be integrated into the agents KW search app. The app that over 1 million people have downloaded to date just needs a simple update in the app store, and after you update your app it will be simple to share the KW app with your clients.
All you need to do right now is to set up your profile, and set up your vendors. In this article I will show you step by step how to set up your profile.
First, go to homekeepr.com/kw. You will fill in your basic information and will create a password.

Second, you will fill out more personal information, and company information. Also, you will add the association and market center. If you need your license number, email Chris Day at cday@kw.com. You can always skip the license number and add it later in your profile.

The next step is adding your picture. You will click “Upload”, and then select your picture from your computer.

When your picture loads in the pop out window you will see a square in the center of the picture. You will grab top corner with your mouse and pull it out and up all the way. Then, grab the bottom corner and drag it out and down to extend the box.

You can now move the box up or down to select the area of your picture that you would like displayed on your app.

Next, just save and continue

Next, you can choose to upload the Keller Williams Greater Springfield logo into the app. You can select the “x” on the upper right corner of the KW logo.

You will be prompted to up select a new logo from your computer. You can download the Keller Williams Greater Springfield logo HERE to your computer first, in order to upload to the app.

You will follow the same instructions as above to move the corners of the crop box to select the whole logo.

Click submit when the whole logo is selected

Next, save and continue

The next page will ask you to add the vendors from the Greater Springfield Market Center, and the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors. Our Preferred Vendors are in the directory, so you can keep that check-marked. The GSBOR does not have a vendor list in the directory, so the check-mark here is optional. Save and continue.

Now, you’re all set up! Before you start sharing you should add your own vendors.

Setup can be done on your smart phone as well. From the App Store you will search for “HomeKeepr Professionals”. This will be an App that you can use as the agent to manage your account, vendors, clients, and to get other information about the app.
